The hotel was a sweat box…or certainly our room was. It is May and pretty hot at the moment. The room had no air conditioning and no way of opening the windows more than a crack not allowing much air through. It was unbearable. At 3am we were forced to go to reception to pick up a fan. The squeaking fan covered over the raucous of the city and we slept for about 4hrs after that. The hotel is clean, breakfast ok with a good selection and the staff is nice. However I would not recommend staying here unless you like sleeping in a sauna or don’t need air to sleep. Certainly not in the summer months (May-September).

This was my second time here and I thoroughly recommend it. Both rooms I stayed in were clean, comfortable and warm. I had good views of the city which was worth paying extra for. The staff are very friendly, and it's only a few tram stops from the centre - the trams come frequently and stop right outside the hotel. I would say it takes only between 5 and 10 minutes to get in, usually around 5 as it's so near. I particularly recommend the breakfasts, which are included. They have an enormous range of food, all of it good quality. Food that is surprising to be included for someone from the UK - herring for example - but so much of it and such a wide variety it's best to come very hungry!

Stayed as part of a large group, with my daughter. We had a lovely, comfortable bed. Room was very clean, clean bathroom and nice shower. We had all necessities as we only were there to sleep and go!:) Breakfast had plenty of options and we honestly enjoyed it! Very pleasant and friendly staff. Good location as tram just a minute away. The hotel was immaculate with friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. There is a tram stop less than 2 minutes walk away with great links to the station and all the top attractions. The rooms are adequately sized, clean with comfortable beds and lovely showers. Would recommend
